Project Overview

Maven Toys is a fictional chain of small toy stores in the United States. The Regional Sales Managers have a monthly performance call with their COO and need a dashboard to track revenue trends, compare performance across stores, and identify growing and declining products.

Goals

The goal was to create a dashboard to help answer these questions:

• How much revenue did the region generate this month?
• How does this compare to previous periods?
• Are there any seasonal trends worth noting?
• What were the best-performing stores across the country?
• Which products stand out in terms of growth?

Skills Learned

Through this project, I enhanced my skills in:

• Data analysis using Microsoft Excel
• Creating dashboards for performance tracking
• Identifying sales trends
• Understanding product performance metrics

Creation Process

I enrolled in the Open Campus event for 10 days in Maven Analytics to enhance my skills in data visualization. The course was completely based on real-world projects, featuring four advanced projects designed for interactivity and allowing users to filter by different regions.
